Hong Kong - Day 2 at Mongkok & Tsim Sa Tsui

It was a bright sunny afternoon when we arrived at Mongkok. FIrst thing when we reached the popular ladies street, we kept searching for "多寶齋廚" which appears first on my veggie list. Located at 旺角 通菜街154號, it was an easy search. We ordered beef noodle, mushroom noodle and a claypot tofu +eggplant+rice. OOps, we totally forgot that we should have ordered 2 servings instead of 3! Nevermind, since we travelled all the way from HK island to Kowloon, we would try more of the HK local dishes! We also ordered the "gluten based zhai lou" which came as cold dishes. The Hong Kongers just loved the "zhai lou mei!" They are the very traditional type of gluten based vegetarian dish. It's fully flavoured, taste quite good, though I did not fancy at all :P .

When the dishes were served, wow, again, so big a portion. Nvm, the tofu eggplant and the mushroom noodles looked good. But the beef noodle was a bit too oily for me. THat's alright since the lady boss was super friendly hahaa. She could recognise that we were not the locals since our cantonese sounded very "Malaysian" laH ~ haha. She was just too kind to tell us where we should go. ONe of the places is one of the temple situated at Diamond Hill. However, regrettably, we did not have time to make a trip there. Nevertheless, we will be back, HK!

AFter our lunch and some shopping and sight-seeing at Mongkok, we headed to Tsim Sa Tsui for dinner!
